In this web series, we explore the intersection of domestic violence, mental health, systemic racism, and community support in Black and Brown communities, while highlighting personal survivor stories, the impact of trauma, and the role of allies in breaking the cycle of violence.

Insight on the matter:

Disproportionate Impact: Nearly 45% of Black women experience some form of intimate partner violence in their lifetime.

Homicide Risk: Black women are killed by partners at nearly twice the rate of white women.

Health Impacts: Survivors of domestic violence in these communities are at higher risk for PTSD and other chronic illnesses.
